What Fileverity checks
- 01 / 03
AI generation
Detects images created or re-rendered by generative AI models and shows the evidence behind each finding.
- 02 / 03
Manipulation and editing
Locates edited regions in real photos and reads editing-software traces, so reviewers see where and how an image was altered.
- 03 / 03
Provenance and credentials
Reads Content Credentials (C2PA), embedded metadata and machine-readable AI labels, then checks each claim against the pixels.
02Analysis layer
See what the analysis sees.
Drag the divider across the photo. The left side shows the image as submitted; the right side shows the same image as an analysis view, with the copied region and its source marked.

Submit
Upload an image in the web app or send it through the API.
Inspect
Provenance, metadata, pixels and editing traces are analyzed in parallel.
Decide

Frequently asked questions
Q01What is Fileverity?
Fileverity is an image verification service for businesses that checks whether an image was generated by AI or manipulated after capture. It combines provenance data, pixel-level analysis and editing traces into one conclusion, backed by a verifiable report.
Q02How can you tell if an image is AI-generated?
Fileverity combines pixel-level detection with provenance checks to estimate whether an image is AI-generated. Several independent detectors analyze the pixels, while any AI labels or Content Credentials in the file are read and checked. The report states how likely the image is to be AI-generated and which evidence supports that conclusion.
Q03How can you tell if a photo has been edited?
Fileverity locates edited regions with forensic analysis and checks the file for editing-software history. When it finds manipulation, the report marks the affected regions on the image and states how strong the supporting evidence is.
Q04Who is Fileverity for?
Fileverity is for teams that make decisions based on images: insurers handling claims, financial services running identity and KYC checks, newsrooms verifying user content, online marketplaces and legal or investigation teams.
